HeartGift ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect

• Gift content you create (names, messages, photos) — stored to render the gift to your recipient.
• Payment data via Razorpay. We never see your card number — Razorpay handles it (PCI-DSS certified).
• Account info (email, name) only if you sign in to the dashboard.
• Open events when recipients view a gift — timestamp, approximate location, device — to power the reaction tracking feature.
• Cookies & analytics for performance and marketing (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics).

How we use it

To deliver your gift, process payments, send transactional emails, improve the product, and prevent fraud. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Gifts on Basic tier are deleted after 7 days; Premium after 90 days; Forever, until you ask us to delete. Payment records are retained for 7 years per Indian tax law.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing hello@heartgift.com. We respond within 30 days.

Children

HeartGift is intended for users 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
